Langley Crossing

Langley Crossing is located in the heart of the Thompsonville Historic District in Newton Centre. It is ideally located at the mid-point of Langley Road , between Route 9 and Beacons Street/Newton Centre. The three residence Condominiums are located in two new buildings and one renovated historic structure.

Each residence contains a living room/dining room, eat-in kitchen family room and powder room on the main level and a master suite and two additional bedrooms on the upper level. The new buildings also contain an open space on the second floor, which can be converted into a fourth bedroom.

These residences were built with a selection of materials that befit this project's unique location and style. The exterior building materials include cedar clapboard siding, Caradco vinyl clad windows, architectural fiberglass asphalt roof shingles and insulated entrance doors with sidelights. The new residences each have an on-grade patio; the renovated building has a wood deck. Interior materials include hardwood flooring on the main level, maple kitchen cabinets with granite counters and ceramic tile in the bathrooms.

Each residence is conditioned by two separate gas fired split system heating and air-conditioning units, a 75 gallon gas hot water tank, and 200 amp electrical service. Each residence has two interior parking spaces

The site landscaping retains mature trees on site, and provides additional vegetation for screening and shade.

This project was subject to review by the Historic Preservation Commission and required Special Permits from the City of Newton .

This project was completed in 2000.
